1. About ByeBud

ByeBud is a web‑based tool that helps you analyse Instagram followers and unfollowers using Instagram's official data export feature. ByeBud is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using ByeBud, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
• Provide accurate information when using the Service.
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service, our systems, or other users.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices and any files you upload (including Instagram data exports).

4. Instagram and third‑party services

• ByeBud does not request or store your Instagram password.
• You are responsible for requesting and downloading your Instagram data export in line with Instagram's own policies and terms.
• Any relationship you have with Instagram or other third‑party services remains solely between you and those third parties.
• You agree not to use ByeBud in any way that violates Instagram's terms of use.

5. Use of the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal or internal business purposes.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or service.
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise access the Service in an automated way beyond what is necessary for normal usage (unless explicitly permitted via an API).

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

6. Accounts and payments

Some parts of ByeBud may be free, and others may be paid. If we introduce paid plans:

• Fees, billing periods, and refund rules will be described on the pricing page.
• You authorise us and our payment processors to charge your chosen payment method for applicable fees.
• We may change prices in the future, with notice as required by law or by the terms of your plan.

7. Affiliate programme

We may offer an affiliate or referral programme. If you participate, you agree to any additional affiliate terms we provide, including rules about promotion, commission eligibility, and prohibited practices such as spam or misleading claims.

8. Intellectual property

ByeBud, including its content, features, and underlying software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain any rights to content and data you upload, but you grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

We do not guarantee:

• That ByeBud will be error‑free, secure, or available at all times.
• That the insights or analytics we provide will be complete, accurate, or suitable for your particular needs.
• That using ByeBud will have any specific effect on your Instagram account performance or compliance with Instagram's policies.

You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill,

arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) £50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service in a harmful or unlawful way.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the latest changes were made. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
